Important COVID-19 Update from Printer World

To Our Valued Clients and Business Associates,
First off, we extend our deepest sympathy to all who have been personally affected. With the increasing and dynamic challenges that COVID-19 presents worldwide, these are challenging times like none we have seen.
Printer World provides an essential supply chain service and continues to remain open and operational across all locations and service centres. We would like to assure you that, although we have scaled back, Printer World is fully operational and is providing uninterrupted service to clients and customers
Printer World is committed to observing the best practices to protect the health and safety of our employees, clients and associates. As we deal with the ongoing issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to share a few updates concerning ongoing operations:
We have taken the following actions to protect employees, clients and customers:
- We have closed our offices to visitors and guests to ensure that we maintain and follow recommended physical distancing guidelines.
- In order to maintain effective communication and stay current and active with all projects, all meetings will be rescheduled, or hosted virtually by either conference call or video conference, as required.
- Select staff members are working remotely and we have equipped them with the latest technology.
- We are monitoring information released by local, provincial and federal authorities so that we can respond rapidly to the ever-evolving situation.
As this relates to you, our valuable customer:
Business Delivery Service:
To protect you and our drivers, Printer World drivers will be implementing additional measures to minimize exposure. To avoid contact altogether, please include instructions with your order if you’d like us to leave your order outside your office door or in your reception area. When available we will note the person’s name receiving the order. If a delivery with contact is required, our driver will not require a signature and simply note the receiver’s name on the packing slip.
Home Delivery Service:
To support working from home, we offer residential delivery services. We will leave packages at your front door to avoid unnecessary contact. If you would like a call to be advised the package has been delivered, please provide a contact number to reach you.
Please know that our technicians will be extra vigilant during their service visits. They will follow clear instructions regarding the complete cleaning of the devices before and after their work on your equipment. In addition, our team is equipped with highly effective sanitation products and additional hygienic protection. Please be aware that with reduced staff, our average response time may increase slightly. We may call your office in advance with a quick “COVID checklist” for the safety of our technicians.
As our business has been deemed essential, our supply chain fulfillment will continue. Some minor delays may occur, and we appreciate your patience during these challenging times. We suggest you look at being proactive and perhaps carry an extra toner cartridge on the shelf during this time, so you do not “run out” at an inopportune moment.
Our Print Production Office continues to be operation, fulfilling requirements for the essential printed materials businesses require to operate, such as safety forms and other operational documents.
Installations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
